Job Brief

The Regional Clinical Director (RCD) serves as the clinical and administrative lead for an assigned region, overseeing BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and clinical interns. In this leadership position, you will mentor clinicians, guide program quality, and collaborate closely with the Senior Clinical Director and Director of Operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a clinical professional who is passionate about building strong teams, improving outcomes, and fostering a supportive, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Supervision & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor BCBAs and BCaBAs to support clinical development and decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee FBAs, BIPs, and treatment plans for compliance and accuracy. Conduct audits, fidelity checks, and clinical integrity reviews.
  • Family & Stakeholder Communication: Engage regularly with families and support teams to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with operations to manage case assignments, team alignment, and onboarding.
  • Leadership Development & Training: Lead hiring, orientation, and mentoring of new hires and clinical interns. Provide training and enforce policies.
  • Operational Partnership: Support staffing audits, productivity tracking, and walkthroughs. Ensure compliance with payer, BACB, and state guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Minimum of 3 years BCBA experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Knowledge of Florida Medicaid and insurance requirements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the region
  • Proficiency in CentralReach and ABA data systems (preferred)
  • Experience with interdisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, or school-based services (preferred)
  • Safety-Care or CPI certification (preferred)
